The University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Office for Inclusivity & Change (OIC) this year joined forces with Rape Crisis, an organisation that has worked in the area of rape and sexual violence since 1976, to strengthen the support services to survivors of sexual offences.

In 2018 we developed an online case reporting tool which allows students
report GBV cases. From the data received from the cases reported we have been able to track where cases occur either on campus or off campus. We are then able to target interventions appropriately.
