This podcast is dedicated to my mother Sherice Yvette Thompson. My mother passed away October 25, 2019. We started this podcast in August 2019. I was blessed to capture many moments with her during the preparation of this podcast. My mother wanted me to create a platform where women could be the voice of other women and healing for sharing their own personal testimony. We want women to "Keep It Real," and be themselves so other women know that they are alone in the many battles we face in our lives. Uplifting words from Yvette Lloyd

A mother putting her kids first before herself. Although her children are adults now, she is still trying to find direction in her own life. The pattern she has created over the years has caught up with her and with the strong relationship with God. She will continue to make it through day by day. 

Imagine fighting to find yourself because you placed everyone in life before you. Witnessing abuse as a child and trying to fight and help your mother. Not to mention finding that specific void from a man that you thought was ok to be treated because you didn't want to endure the pain your mother went through. Yvette talks with Carlotta about these many experiences she been through in life. Yet, raised some amazing children. 

Yvette Lloyd lost her mother October 25, 2019. She talks about how powerful her mother is, how her mother is very holistic, and healthy in many ways. Yvette's mother worked a job for 39 years and her ending pay before she retired wasn't even more than $16.00 a hour. Yvette and Crystal talk about no matter what you go through in life,. God always helps us to keep pressing forward. Despite how hurtful things may feel. We all have a purpose in life. Crystal did jail time in Federal Prison system and is currently a successful women by the grace of God.
