Life in-between #2: Navigating Hormones, Hair, and Luck

Listen Later

Hey there, it's Aditi, and welcome to an in-between episode of "Kai Pan Aditi." This is where I let loose, rant, and dive into all the random thoughts swirling in my mind. So, buckle up because today, I'm taking you on a rollercoaster ride through my recent experiences and musings.

Ever had those days when hormones seem to rule your cravings? I've been there, trust me. I recently found myself indulging in pizza for two consecutive days, and let me tell you, it was all because my hormones decided to throw a party in my body. Ladies, you know what I'm talking about!

But here's the deal - it's essential to be kind to ourselves during these hormonal rollercoasters. We can't blame our bodies for wanting comfort food. It's just part of being human.

Speaking of hair, maintaining long locks is no walk in the park. I have scalp eczema, and my dermatologist recommended washing my hair every other day. But seriously, have you seen how long my hair is? Washing it so frequently has its consequences, and I've been facing hair loss. My mom's even dropped some hints about me needing a haircut. The struggles, right?

Now, let's get into something intriguing - the power of conscious luck. I stumbled upon a fascinating book called "Conscious Luck" by Gay Hendricks and Carol Kline. In the book, they lay down eight secrets to intentionally change your fortune. The first secret? Believing that you're the luckiest person in the world. It might sound a bit out there, but hey, I gave it a shot, and some strangely lucky things started happening. Coincidence? Maybe.

Have you ever noticed that when you recommend a book to friends, the price suddenly skyrockets? It's like the universe knows, right? Well, it happened to me too. But hey, reading is all about keeping an open mind, exploring new concepts, and expanding your horizons. Even if you're not a believer in manifestation, being open to new ideas can be enlightening.

I've also been contemplating the dating scene in Mumbai. It's a city of dreams, but how do you navigate the world of dating here? I've tried dating apps, but they haven't quite worked for me. So, I'm pondering new ways to meet people, maybe even taking up a class. After all, the best MBA is starting your own business and learning on the go, right?

As I wrap up this whirlwind of thoughts, remember to stay open to new experiences and ideas. Who knows what the universe has in store for you? Keep an open mind, and you might just uncover some unexpected luck along the way.

That's all for today. Until next time, this is Aditi, signing off.
