HELPS TO THE HELPLESS
Mga Awit 121:1
Do'n sa mga burol, ako'y napatingin— sasaklolo sa akin, saan manggagaling?
Mga Awit 121:2
Ang hangad kong tulong, kay Yahweh magmumula, sa Diyos na lumikha ng langit at ng lupa.
Mga Awit 121:3
Di niya ako hahayaang mabuwal, siya'y di matutulog, ako'y babantayan.
Mga Awit 121:4
Ang tagapagtanggol ng bayang Israel, hindi natutulog at palaging gising!
Mga Awit 121:5
Si Yahweh ang ating Tagapag-ingat, laging nasa piling, upang magsanggalang.
Mga Awit 121:6
Di ka maaano sa init ng araw, kung gabi ay di ka sasaktan ng buwan.
Mga Awit 121:7
Si Yahweh ang siyang sa iyo'y mag-iingat, sa mga panganib, ika'y ililigtas.
Mga Awit 121:8
Si Yahweh ang siyang sa iyo'y mag-iingat saanman naroon, ika'y iingatan, di ka maaano kahit na kailan.
Psalm 121:1-8 NIV
1] I lift up my eyes to the mountains---where does my help come from?
2] My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
3] He will not let your foot slip---he who watches over you will not slumber;
4] indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
5] The Lord watches over you---the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
6] the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
7] The Lord will keep you from all harm---he will watch over your life;
8] the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
I am going to give you three truths this …. that will carry you through the stormy seas and the furious floods that you are going to face in life.
- The Lord is my Provider
- The Lord is my Protector
- The Lord is my PRESERVER
1. THE LORD IS MY PROVIDER
> The writer makes a statement, “ I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills.” Then he breaks off and asks a question, “ from whence cometh my help.” Where I am going to find help ?
Jeremias 3:23
Walang naitulong sa amin ang mga diyus-diyosang sinasamba namin sa kaburulan. Si Yahweh lamang na aming Diyos, ang tunay na kaligtasan ng Israel.
Jeremias 3:24
Dahil sa aming pagsamba kay Baal, nawala sa amin ang lahat ng bagay na pinaghirapan ng aming mga magulang, mula pa noong una—ang aming mga anak, mga hayop at mga kawan.
Jer. 3:23
“ Truly, in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains; Truly, in the Lord our God is the salvation of Israel.”
God will give us exactly the three things that all of us need to overcome. First of all He will gave us,
> SECURITY:
“ My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” (121:2 )
> I'm talking about the God who is higher than the hills, mightier than the mountains, above all the armies, greater than all the generals.
> I'm talking about the God who created this world with a word, and one day will cremate this world with a whisper.
> I'm talking about the God of whom Jeremiah said, “ Ah, Lord God! Behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by Thy great power and stretched out arm.
Jeremias 32:17
si Jeremias ay nanalangin: “Panginoong Yahweh, nilikha mo ang langit at ang lupa sa pamamagitan ng iyong kapangyarihan. Walang bagay na mahirap para sa iyo.
There is nothing too hard for Thee.” (Jer. 32:17 )
Psalm 115:3
But our God is in the heavens; He hath done whatsoever He hath please.

Ang Diyos nami'y nasa langit, naroroon ang Diyos namin, at ang kanyang ginagawa ay kung ano ang ibigin.
>. STABILITY: we are stable
Mga Awit 121:3

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved,”
Psalm 121:3
The word to be moved literally means “ to slip and slide, to stagger, to be shaken.”
( Pro 3:25-26, ) “ Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the consolation of the wicked, when it cometh. For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.” My …. the feet that are standing on the solid Rock of Ages can neither slip nor stumble.
