There is a tradition that has carried on for over 2,000 years. It's the tradition of missionaries sharing with their sending church all that God has done. These are Antioch stories.

What makes you want to run fast and tell someone something? When it's good news. That's exactly what we should be doing with the message of Christ.

Have you asked for patience and then had a chance to prove it? What about humility? What do we do when we're tested? Look for his grace.

Have you ever fasted? What does fasting mean to you? Is it a diet? A religious requirement? Something mystical? What is the fasting God requires?

Is the message of salvation through a suffering savior one to be believed? Yes.  Who do we share it with? Those who blaspheme the name of our God.

Are you a member of a church? Is membership important? What does commitment mean? What does the Bible say?

What is one of the leading causes of defection from the mission field? Disappointment due to the need for perfection or control, as it's commonly termed. What's the cure? Surrender.

In the best of times, in the worst of times, Jesus prays. What about you? Think about that as you review John 17.

What's the evidence of a growing Christ-follower? They heard, they believed, and they produce fruit. Making disciples needs all three.

As Jesus closes his prayer in John 17, he has one final request: that we would see his glory.
