Okay, can’t say any other guest has come on the poddy and chuckled about “bombs dropping everyday,” “throwing rocks at each other” or an “aunty who likes chubby kids.” None of this really phases Naj (aka our photographer) as he opens up about his story.
Naj delves into what it’s like being a child in Iraq in the midst of a war, as well as school in Iraq. He describes his journey as an immigrant, and how he adapted to a new way of life here in Australia, and bravely talks about his experiences with racism. He also teaches us about Muslim beliefs and practices.
Tune into this enlightening episode to hear Naj’s story, we learnt so much and promise you will too!
