We tend to identify ourselves based on the conversations and circumstances. This was a fun exploration of my own identity and wound up being a number of conversation and writing topics I’ll revisit in the future.

Life in Lists of 30, Episode 11: 30 Names for this Era

Wrote this back in April 2020, but I think it’s still relevant. The names suggested could be headers or chapters in a history textbook.

Improvement: I realized I listen to everything at 1.3x speed, so I made the music just a tiny bit slower beat and tried to pause a little bit more. I also got a mic stand that you can see on the YouTube recording.

With a new Work-From-Home world, here are 30 different activities you can implement for team building.

Improvement: Used Audacity to add post-production filters that compress, improve bass and treble, limit, and normalize. Played around with VoiceMeeter Banana for live EQ, but it had an annoying echo I couldn’t remove. Added video of myself to YouTube version.

Life in Lists of 30, Episode 6: 30 Questions I’d Ask my Future Self

I asked myself these questions back in Nov 2014, but I don’t think any of the answers I give for my younger self would have changed my path. Maybe I’d buy more stocks in $TSLA and buy more Bitcoin.

Less focus on improvements and more on recording ahead of time so I can keep the M/W/F cadence while I work full time. I’m able to do a full episode from recording to editing within 45 minutes, so I guess that’s an improvement.
