On this episode, the boys had on special guest Hugo Fry! Hugo is a 2:19 marathoner from London who has two Guinness World Records for costume marathons (Mario Costume 2:26, Santa Costume 2:33). He also recently ran from Philadelphia to New York (100 miles) in partnership with his employer DAZN (we will let you listen to this hilarious story on the pod).

On this episode, the boys had on professional ultra runner Sage Canaday! Sage is a Hoka athlete and is currently based out of Colorado.

He started his pro career with the Hanson Brooks group in Michigan and we got some great stories from that time. He was actually the youngest Olympic Trials qualifer the year he qualified, at just 21 years old!

After lowering his marathon time to 2:16, he moved to ultra and has been working with Hoka for 11 years! He has won Lake Sonoma 50 twice, and ran legendary races like UTMB. Sage has a lot of amazing stories and we got to hear a few from these races over the years.

We also touched on Sage’s running post pulmonary embolism, which set him back a bit but he is running pretty well again now, breaking 2:30 at Boston this year!

This was a lot of fun, Sage is super personable and loves talking running. Enjoy!

On this episode, the boys had on special guest Cody Taggart! Cody has an amazing story that we were really inspired by. In his early 20s, he hit rock bottom and decided to turn his life around.

In 1.5 years, he lost 120 pounds and ended up signing up for a half marathon. This is where his running journey began! Since then, he has run marathons and several ultra marathons, including a SOLO SPEED PROJECT (LA to Las Vegas - 300 miles +!).

On this episode, the boys had on a couple friends (Chris Sadler AKA Krispy Runs and Erik Stauderman) to talk about recent marathon experiences they both had!

Chris ran Bayshore with us and had a sub 2:40 goal. Unfortunately he had major stomach issues after halfway and had to throwup 17 times!

Erik ran the Fargo, ND marathon and had to take an emergency pit stop in somebody’s yard. He subsequently got lost, cut off 2 miles of the course, then purposely went off course to make up the distance (don’t worry he still DQd himself lol).

Ben’s partner, Meg, recently left her job in fashion to go full time helping Ben with his channel! We talked about that decision and the impact it has had so far.
