Life as we know it involves many difficulties and challenges, and if we have unrealistic expectations of how easy life ought to be, we will get deeply discouraged. But if we come to see that the world is undergoing a birthing process, and that God will eventually bring it to its right end, we can learn to trust him in the difficulty and partner with him in the work he is doing.
