Life is a Fetch Quest

We're back! After our holiday break we decide to tap into our inner Nostradamus and theorize on our Predictions (from normalcy to Pepe Silvia levels of crazy) for the year ahead.

This week we have only one mission this week - to talk about Cyberpunk 2077. After waiting 8 years and now we've spent a good while in the depths of Night City, we've jacked in to the Podcast Network to give y'all our major impressions hot off the scrolls!

Special Guest! Join us this sidequest for a wild discussion about Old vs New School Anime, featuring friend of the podcast, Other James.

We share our experiences discovering Anime through that weird Anime SBS Block, Perfect Dark and the discover (and obsession?) with a foreign movie called the Tit and the Moon.

Here's 5 dollars, go see a Star War. This week, Harvey, James and Rob talk about their favourite Boss Battles in videogames (surprise, Rob has a weird list again), Harvey updates us with his experience with Jedi: Fallen Order, Beenleigh Show and EKKA Returns, we check in with Rob about Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and much more! Also puppy.

Thought we were done with music? Oh no, child. Listening back to our pre-show audio, we decided that the conversation was too good to not share. We delve a bit deeper into some of the games we spoke about in Episode 8 while talking about some games that didn't make it to the main episode cut. We feature examples of our picks in this episode, so the format is a little different. Either way, this is your peek behind the curtain!

Our first Life is a Fetch Quest Gaiden! These are our "mini" episodes for when there's just too much content for one episode. Rob gets surprisingly amped about Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, James gets into his first impressions with Game Pass and a new found love for Gears, Harvey's pre-order woes and our spectrum of speculation on Cyberpunk 2077.

THREE SIXTY DEGREES. ONE EIGHTY DEGREES. Macho Man comin' at you with hot take central as we attempt to rank all the consoles (from NES) in some form of list that has some form of sanity. We also check in with James' and his experiences with the Series S.

Not even the power of the ultimate life form can stop us talking about videogames this week. We dive into the Mass Effect Remastered announcement, check in with Hades and for our main topic this week we dive into our fantasy list of Games that we'd love to see remade!

Wow! This episode is a BIG B.A.N.G.E.R, we'll leave some handy timecodes at the end of the description for your health cause this episode is a big boi.

This week's main topic we go all in on what our most loved critically panned games and some truly hot tamale of takes on what our most dislike critical darlings.

We also check in to see what the temperature is in the Underworld with our updated Hades impressions.

0:00:00 - What we've been up to/playing, 0:47:00 - Our Main Topic begins, 1:54:00 - Condor Man, 2:11:00 - Game Updates

Enjoy the new episode and don't forget to follow and leave us some feedback!
