🎙 In honor of Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month, we are pleased to present an exclusive interview with Kale Sudhoff, an extraordinary 18-year-old high school senior who is taking the world by storm. Despite juggling a busy schedule attending high school, taking college classes, working at a golf course, and teaching at a local preschool, Kale has found the time to pursue his passion for writing and illustrating children's books.
With two published children's books under his belt, Kale is making waves in the literary world. His first book, Danny the Duck Heads South, was released in the fall of 2020 when Kale was only a sophomore in high school, and his second book, Danny and Kevin Conquer Camping, was published in the spring of 2022. The latter was written to raise awareness for limb loss and limb differences and to promote inclusivity and friendship among children.
Kale's books are not just entertaining but also educational, as they aim to teach kids to be inclusive, believe in themselves, and never give up on their dreams.
