🎙 Join us for an engaging conversation with our good friend, Chris Bravo, a filmmaker, artist, and activist based in Brooklyn, NY.

His current projects focus on building connections and engagement with the community of people living with dementia. He came to this work primarily through his experience as a care partner with his Mom, who lived with vascular dementia before she passed in 2021. He is a community member and volunteer with the Dementia Action Alliance USA and a Mentor Advocate Peer with CaringKind - The Heart of Alzheimer's Caregiving.

He is currently developing a movement-based creative engagement program for people living with dementia called Make Space (https://www.makespacetheater.org/). Make Space is a project designed to help people living with dementia develop tools and resources for communication, expression, and creativity. The project is being developed with Giulia Caratenuto (https://www.healingdanceandmovement.com/), an artist and movement therapist, in collaboration with the members of the New York Memory Center.
