I have come with a word from the Lord. To encourage his sons and daughters. In this episode, God has given me a question for you to stop and mediate on. The question is "what you are doing with the seed God has given to you?". We go through the parable of the Sower who sowed seed mentioned in Mark 4, Luke 8, and Matthew 13. As God gives me this encouraging word, he desires for the seed to fall on good soil and produce fruit. The Seed (the word of God) is important. Join me is this word of encouragement, be blessed.
What is the seed?
The seed is the word of God
God has given us his word. I want to encourage you and ask where is your seed being sown in?
God talks about it in Luke 8:1-15, Mark 4:1-20, and Matthew 13: 1-20
The types of places where his seed can fall on.
Stage 1: seed sown on wayside/pavement:
Surface level, you have heard the words of God but do not take any pleasure in it. (You have unbelief about God and his word).
Stage 2: Seed sown on rocks:
You have heard the word and took Joy in his word but have shallow roots or understanding of his word. It does not last when life’s troubles come you get discouraged and fall away.
Stage 3: Seed sown near thorns:
You have heard the word of God, but the temptations of this world of riches, and evil desire cause you to-be choked out from the truth and never have maturity or any fruit.
Stage 4: Seed sown on good soil:
You have heard the word, believed it and obey what the word says. you bear fruit because you have deep roots that can withstand the trials and tribulations that come from this world you are grounded in who you are in Christ. You bear good fruit and reap a harvest by God's grace. You Soley trust and rely on God. Your desire is to please only him and to do his will. You have no care in what this world has to offer. but you seek the things above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
in closing I would like to share a revelation I had that ties into what God has to say.
I had cut in half a fruit and seen the seed of the fruit. Your immediate reaction is to throw it away. one dropped in the trash, and God spoke to me how many of us throw away what he has made to multiply. What are we doing to use the seed God has given us to share with other the truth and hope we have in him. He multiplies what we have. My question to you is what are you doing with the seed God has given to you?
