Jesus is our Stronghold and He is is the place where we can resist all attacks from the devil! He is the fortress from which we command demons to pick up their weapons and flee.
Waiting in the presence of the Lord is not designed to be an isolation from the wickedness of the world, but a place where we are insulated with the holiness of God against contamination! Enabling us to be "in this world, but not of it" and we will not be "weary in well-doing"! Wait today and be endued with power for God!
The confession of faith is simply saying about ourselves what God says about us. Most of the time, we only confess the good things that God says about us. The conviction of the Holy Spirit not only approves us when we do right, but He is here to reprove us when we do wrong. Confession is good for your soul. James 5:16 says, "Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working."
