Scientists in Sweden at the University of Gothenburg are upset.  According to their research, crabs and lobsters feel the pain of being dropped into boiling water when cooking them.  As a result, they demand the alternative of electrocution upon being caught.  The research process involved connecting the crustations to electrodes and injecting them with acid which they said caused “prolonged and intense” pain, far more cruel than a couple of seconds in boiling water.  Abortion is legal in Sweden up to eighteen weeks, well after a baby can feel pain.  If the scientists are so concerned with crabs and lobsters, why aren’t they demanding the end to abortion when human babies can feel the excruciating pain and unspeakable violence of abortion?  Where’s their compassion?

As of late, the US Department of Justice has had little to do with actual justice and more to do about prosecuting Biden’s political foes.  It now appears their unjust actions are already being dismantled.  District Judge Matthew Leitman has delayed sentencing of peaceful pro-life protestors who were made examples of by the Biden administration and vulnerable to many years in jail.  Judge Leitman paused court proceedings and directed prosecutors to chat with their new president after the inauguration before he would move forward with sentencing the pro-lifers.  Including an eighty-nine year old Holocaust survivor.  During the campaign, Trump said of the pro-lifers, “We will get…them back to their families where they belong.”  I’m optimistic legitimate pardons may be on the horizon.

Bel Trew is a correspondent for a far-left newspaper in the United Kingdom.  She produced a documentary about abortion in America called The A-Word.  It aired on PBS, a TV network funded with your tax dollars.  She claimed that after the Dobbs decision there was a dramatic increase in the deaths of women and babies in states with pro-life laws she called “draconian.”  This is an unfounded blatant lie.  But Trew doesn’t let facts get in the way of her agenda.  She also claimed abortion “had become a hugely divisive and important issue as we were leading up to the elections.”  This was proven false.  Women were more concerned about illegal immigrants and the economy.  We must strip PBS, a mouthpiece for the far Left, of tax funding and send Trew home to the UK.

The New York Times published a heartbreaking article called The Unspoken Grief of Never Becoming a Grandparent.  Lydia loved being a stay-at-home mother.  She taught the kids to read before they started school and looked forward to sharing her favorite stories with her grand babies.  But both her adult kids are part of a growing number of millennials who choose not to have children.  And Lydia’s a growing number of would-be grandparents who grieve the loss of their grandchildren.  Neither Lydia nor I advocate having children against someone’s will but what a missed blessing.  Parents raise your children with a servant’s heart and a passion to value and cherish human life.  Teach them that children are a blessing from God.  A true blessing and comfort in their golden years.

A battle over life or death is waging in Britain.  Members of Parliament are debating a bill to legalize assisted suicide – and it’s dividing the nation.  Four former Prime Ministers have expressed opposition to the bill.  The Health Secretary, Education Secretary, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, and Business Secretary have all voiced opposition.  Opposition may be stronger based on the experience of over a dozen countries that legalized some form of euthanasia.  What we’ve seen is a stunningly quick jettison of so-called crucial protections for patients.  Life Issues Institute researched the world and produced an interactive global map documenting the timelines of each country where a form of euthanasia has been legalized.  The results will surprise you.  Find it at lifeissues.org.

Recently accessed information shows a contract between the University of California Sandiego and Planned Parenthood.  The abortion giant provides bodies and parts of unborn babies as old as six months – viable babies with no health issues.  The contract requires the babies have beating hearts just prior to being pulled from the wombs of their mothers.  The goal – to get two thousand, five hundred babies for research.  Instead of money for the babies, Planned Parenthood gets patent royalties generated from successful experiments.  Discrimination was evidenced in consent forms for the mothers.  It in-part read that her baby’s body could provide “significant…commercial value.”  However, this detail was missing from the Spanish consent form.  Visit today’s broadcast link at life issues dot org for more details.

President-Elect Trump’s new division of his administration is getting lots of attention.  Headed by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, it’s called the Department of government Efficiency.  It’ll root out government waste and expose it for congressional action.  One item on their list is Planned Parenthood, the largest chain of abortion facilities in the nation.  And the most aggressive promoter of unrestrained abortion until birth.  It got nearly seven hundred million taxpayer dollars last year.  Planned Parenthood’s president, Alexis McGill Johnson was pretty snarky about this latest development.  She called Musk and Ramaswamy “unqualified fanboys and agents of chaos.”  She then made an unqualified statement that her organization was an “integral part” of healthcare.  I don’t think so.

Senator John Thune, the new Senate Majority Leader, understands the modern-day holocaust of abortion.  In a past speech he expressed gratitude for the Dobbs decision saying it “opens up the chance to right a great moral wrong, the killing of unborn Americans.”  He noted that more than nine hundred thousand abortions continue to be done each year, which is equivalent to the entire population of his state of South Dakota.  Think about that for a minute.  If anything caused the intentional and unjust deaths of born Americans each year, they’d move mountains to protect those innocent lives.  Please join me in prayer that God would direct his path of leadership and Congress and the American people would move mountains to end the modern-day holocaust of abortion.

This Thanksgiving, as you gather around the dinner table.  In between the cheers for your favored football team.  As you reconnect with family and friends.  Stop to think of the one who made all this possible, and I’m not talking about the newly elected officials.  It’s the One who literally made those politicians and placed them in seats of leadership.  Our Jehovah, Heavenly Father, Abba, the Alpha and Omega, God.  Whatever name you use to address the provider of everything – of everyone – you hold dear, spend this day in ceaseless praise to the One who loves you and gives you good things.  Psalms sixty-nine verse thirty says “I will praise God’s name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving.”  May you have a blessed and very happy Thanksgiving, my friend.

Feminists who are “disgruntled” over Trump’s victory have declared a sex war of sorts.  They wanted men to vote for Harris and because they didn’t they’ve come up with a scheme of punishment.  They’re taking pledges of no sex, no dating, no marriage and no kids during the Trump administration to chasten men for supporting Trump.  These feminists are getting on TikTok to declare they will be celibate and encourage other women to delete their dating apps in order to “exercise sovereignty” over their bodies.  Sooner or later these women will find out they’re following biblical principles.  And that’ll probably be the end of it right there.  Most liberal feminists don’t want to be even vaguely accused of acting Christian-like.  You get all kinds in my line of work.
