  • Canada Nears 100,000 Deaths by Euthanasia
Ten years ago, Canada legalized euthanasia through a program called MAID, “medical assistance in dying.” It was promoted as a limited option for terminally ill patients suffering unbearable pain. But the boundaries never stopped expanding.
Today, Canada is approaching 100,000 euthanasia deaths, with nearly 18,000 killed last year alone. These cases now include people suffering from chronic illness, disability, and even emotional distress. Some reportedly sought death because they lacked adequate care or support.
This is the danger of a culture that stops recognizing the inherent value of every human life. Once society accepts the idea that some lives are no longer worth living, the line keeps moving.

  • The Firefighter Who Delivered Her
A retired firefighter recently traveled nearly 800 miles to attend the college graduation of a young woman he helped deliver as a baby twenty-two years ago. After responding to an emergency call in 2004, firefighter Alan Kent became the first person to hold newborn Chloe Huddle.
But the story did not end there. Chloe’s family stayed in contact with him for years, celebrating birthdays at the fire station and building a lifelong bond. Today, Kent says watching Chloe grow up has been one of the highlights of his career.
Every life is precious. Just as we celebrate Alan for his part in bringing Chloe into this world, we should celebrate all mothers who find themselves in a difficult position yet choose life.

  • Woman Celebrates Abortion Party
A shocking video has rocked the world. A young black mother celebrating what she called her "abortion party," a mock gender reveal where she jumps up and down celebrating after taking deadly chemical abortion pills.
Those around her join in cheering and yell, "kill it, kill it." During the video a young girl, who looks to be around 3 years old, can be seen celebrating and dancing alongside the adults. The whole event was broadcast live to an audience on Facebook.
This callus murder of an innocent baby is the sort of evil that we fight against every day. While horrific stories like this remind us of the evil in the world, they should also bolster our resolve to defend life. Join us in standing for those who cannot stand for themselves.

  • Another Woman Maimed by Abortion
Emergency first responders rushed to the scene of Providence Planned Parenthood in Rhode Island. A 28-year-old woman needed serious medical care due to heavy bleeding after an abortion.
This is not an isolated event, Operation Rescue reported three other medical emergencies coming from that very same location in just the last several months.
When paramedics arrived at the Planned Parenthood, official dispatch records show that Advanced Life Support intervention was needed. The public deserves to know that abortion kills an innocent child. They also need to know that it is not without serious risk to the mother. Not only in cases of surgical abortion, but also in the now popular chemical abortion. Around 1 in 10 women who take the deadly drug end up in the emergency room.

  • Chemical Abortion Enables Abusers
The abortion industry claims that access to abortion somehow protects women from abuse by making it easier for them to leave abusive relationships.
Like usual, the claims of the abortion industry could not be further from the truth. Evidence shows that abortion, especially chemical abortion, is a favorite tool of human traffickers and woman abusers. With these deadly drugs available by mail with little to no medical oversight in place, many women have been poisoned against their will.
Our friends at Charlotte Lozier Institute have documented that abortion is not an effective way to end violence, but rather often perpetuates it.

  • Euthanasia for Eating Disorders?
A so-called expert in Canada is now advocating the those who suffer with eating disorders should be eligible to be killed by euthanasia.
Already innocent people in Canada have been approved for death for poverty, disability, and reasons outside of any terminal diagnosis.
During Parliamentary debates about the continued legalization and expansion of Canada’s MAID program Dr. Mona Gupta was pressed about whether or not conditions like eating disorders are sufficient reasons for euthanasia to which she replied, “potentially.”
Euthanasia laws have a proven track record of expansion far beyond the initial safeguards. These laws inevitably target the vulnerable members of society who simply needed help and support, but are instead given merciless execution.
When the sanctity of life is discarded, no one is safe in the long term.

  • A Life Saved
The reckless and irresponsible distribution of the deadly chemical abortion drug has enabled abusive men to target innocent children.
Catherine Pressly learned that she was pregnant only one week after her husband asked for separation. When he learned the news of their unborn child, he purchased the chemical abortion pill.
He used this drug to poison Catherine, in hopes that he could secretly kill their daughter. While drinking a glass of water that he had given her, she noticed something was off. The water appeared murky and realized what was happening. She immediately called a pregnancy resource center and was able to take progesterone to counter the effects of the drug.
Her husband tried to kill their daughter a total of seven times. Thankfully, baby Josephine survived.

  • Deception Is not an Argument
A recent trick has been spreading online among young pro-abortion advocates. They attempt to embarrass pro-lifers by showing an image of a dog or dolphin embryo and asking, “do you really think this is a human being?”
If the pro-lifer mistakes the dog embryo for a human embryo, the abortion advocate mocks them.
This trick is only possible because for those of us who are not embryologists, many mammalian embryos look very similar. But deception is not an argument.
A case of mistaken identity does not change reality. We do not have our right to life because of what we look like, we have a right to life because of what we are. To learn how to defend your pro-life views, visit our pro-life apologetics resource at lifeissues.org.

  • Moms.gov
A new official U.S. government webpage, moms.gov, is providing information, resources, and help to new and expecting mothers.
The website is designed to quote, “address the needs of mothers and fathers who face difficult or unexpected pregnancies and ensure the wellbeing of mothers and the health of American families.”
This pro-life resource connects women in need to pregnancy centers, shares nutrition facts for pregnant women, and more information for the entire family.
Following years of previous administrations pushing pro-abortion messaging and targeting pregnancy resource centers, tools like this are a welcome sight as we fight to create a culture of life. If we want our nation to have a prosperous future, it all starts with creating prosperous families. You can find a link to this resource on our website, lifeissues.org.

  • Nationwide Abortion Pill Reversal Awareness
The deadly chemical abortion pill is now responsible for the vast majority of all abortions in the United States.
For those mothers who made the horrible choice to abort their child with the pill, there is hope for reversal. Abortion pill reversal, using supplemental progesterone, has saved the lives of more than 7,000 unborn babies!
The abortion industry wants to keep this information from mothers and make them believe that once they take the pill there is no hope for saving their child. That is why a nationwide effort to share the hope of abortion pill reversal is being spearheaded by our friends at the National Religious Broadcasters, Heartbeat International, Cogency Strategic.
To learn more about the abortion drug and the chance for reversal, visit lifeissues.org.
