  • The I's Have It [20-0029]
If you listen to a conversation between almost any two people, you will probably observe communication techniques that are far from optimal. People often avoid taking full responsibility for themselves and project a lot of their experience on others. This leads to a situation in which one or both parties in the conversation become disempowered. From that place of disempowerment, triggers can easily occur, leading to defensive, reactive, and argumentative posturing. In this episode, we look at a few ways to reduce or eliminate these problems through the use of self-responsible, first-person communication.

  • The Flaw of Attraction [20-0028]
The Law of Attraction is an age-old principle that says that you attract into your life what you focus your attention on most strongly. But it’s easy to disbelieve this principle when you have the experience of focusing attention on one thing, and something else—perhaps even the exact opposite of what you desire—shows up. How can this possibly happen? Is the Universe simply playing a cruel joke on you? In this episode, we look at this question and provide a full explanation—and offer a solution for turning things around in the right direction.

  • Pain to Passion [19-0027]
Almost everyone goes through challenging and painful experiences in life. For some of us, the pain of those experiences can last a long time. Eventually, we find our way to healing, and very often, the gift in the experience reveals itself and gives us a focus for moving forward. In this episode, I share my own personal experience with the gradual growth of resentment and anger in my life and how it affected everyone around me. When I took the steps necessary to heal the conditions that were creating all that pain, I was blessed with a whole new perspective that led me to the passion that I follow today.

  • Staying Awake [19-0026]
“Waking up”—that is, elevating your consciousness to the point where you are clear about who you really are and why you are here—is a wonderful thing, and it brings with it all kinds of improvements to life that you might never have expected. What I’ve found in my life is that, shortly after going through some amazing, life-changing awakenings, I was confronted with conditions and situations that seemed to be drawing me back into old habits that inhibited my wakefulness. The problem is, I wanted to stay awake! This episode provides some discussion about that very issue.

  • The Two Wolves [19-0025]
There is a Native American story about how we all seem to struggle with the light and dark aspects of ourselves in a variety of ways. The story suggests that what shows up in our lives depends on the amount of attention we pay to these different aspects of ourselves. Early in my personal growth journey, this story had a pretty significant impact on me. But after I had completed a powerful visualization exercise during a workshop, I had a whole new perspective that changed my understanding and appreciation of this story. In this episode, I share my own experience—and the surprising conclusion I came to as a result of that experience!

  • Confidence Game [19-0024]
Fear is something that everyone feels at one time or another. We all know the symptoms, and we’ve all experienced what happens when we get into the “fight or flight” mode of operation. But what happens when fears accumulate within us, perhaps so much that they seem to stop us from doing anything? It can be draining and debilitating, and—if we don’t do something about it—can lead to depression, or worse. The reality is that most of our fears are not in-borne—rather, they are learned. And if we dig deep enough, we discover that they are often completely fabricated in our minds. So, in this episode, we’ll talk about how to deal with the “fear plague” that you might be experiencing, so that you can reconnect to your power and confidence.

  • What Does it Mean? [19-0023]
We humans appear to be hard-wired to find meaning in virtually everything in our lives, from the minute and mundane to the cosmic and boundless. But given that meaning seems to be a subjective kind of experience, could it be that it is entirely a product of the mind? Even if there is broad agreement on the meaning of some common experience, is it necessarily the case that the experience contained the meaning in and of itself? If one lone person declares a different meaning for something that everyone else seems to agree about, is that person wrong? Or mad? In this episode, we look at the concept of meaning in some detail.

  • Embody Your FeMENinity [19-0022]
The world today is overloaded with masculine energy that makes it difficult for qualities like Compassion, Forgiveness and Connection to thrive. As a consequence, we see a lot of examples everywhere of Competition running amok, to the point where greed and fear are taking over. If we are truly interested in making the world a better place for ourselves, our children and our grand-children, then we must increase the level of feminine energy so as to bring ourselves back into balance. Women everywhere are already doing their best to elevate this energy; it’s time for men to step up as well and to begin embodying their own innate feminine energies.

  • The Holistic Human [19-0021]
We humans are special and unique entities, consisting of both physical and non-physical attributes. Within the physical and non-physical realms, we generally find four diverse and deeply interconnected components—Heart, Body, Mind and Soul—which make up what we have come to call The Holistic Human. In this episode, we look at each of these four elements and consider how they interact with each of the other elements. In learning about these interactions, we begin to see a model that helps us to understand how we manage to exist simultaneously in physical and spiritual space.

  • The OMnitude Experiment [19-0020]
Suppose you were All-That-Is and you knew this intuitively. Unfortunately, there is a dilemma: since there is nothing that you are not, there is nothing for you to compare yourself to; therefore, there is no way for you to experience what you already know. Well, this is exactly the dilemma that confronted OMnitude back in the beginning before the Universe as we know it came into being. But OMnitude found a beautiful and elegant solution that made it possible to experience what it already knew to be true—and out of this solution emerged a grand experiment in which we are all participating to this very day.
