In this episode I talk about the case of Leah Thomas I think her name is. I also go into detail about what feminizing hormone therapy does to an otherwise masculine body. A quick shout out to a couple of charities that hold a very special place in my heart. The persad center in Pittsburgh and open space also in Pittsburgh. These two organizations deal exclusively with the LGBT community. I encourage everyone to reach out to them and give them a donation.

Before I even begin, I must issue a trigger warning because I am talking about my experiences with sexual assault and rape. It is my intention that you are able to be empowered by my story and that you can use that story to help others or yourself. One of the biggest organizations that helps victims in the United States in dealing with the aftermath of sexual assault is the rape assault and incest national network (RAINN). In this episode I talk about how many of us in the transgender community have children and how one of my own children responded and reacted to the news of my being transgender.
