The Babes are excited to be back and in this episode the ladies discuss 2020 with a positive spin, reviewing the blessings that occurred and the many great things that happened even in rather unpredictable and at times heartbreaking year. 

This week's episode focuses on caring for our body's largest organ---our skin. Cathy and Mona speak with Veerpal, local entrepreneur and founder of EO Healing an all natural skin care and body care company located in Surrey, British Columbia. 

On this week's episode the Babes catch up with Robin Henery to talk about all things aunt flow. The good, the bad and the environmentally friendly! 

On this week's episode, we spoke with Daria (Derya) Azizian, a Vancouver-based social media influencer, self-proclaimed feminist, and perhaps most important, Kurdish advocate. Derya shares with us a brief history of the Kurdish peoples including the mass genocides and displacement of her people. She also shares about the positive and controversial movements occuring today as Kurds attempt to unite against the oppression of this ethnically distinct group of people by countries such as Turkey. This is a sensitive topic to speak about and a dangerous one if you live in Turkey and other parts of the Middle East. We thank Derya for her courage to speak about these mass injustices in an attempt for non-Kurds to learn about what's going on in light of media suppression. 

The topic of Angels is near and dear to our Babe Mona. In this episode Mona shares about the significance of Angels in her life and stories of when Angels supported her in her life at different times. 

Tonight the Babes touched on racism experienced. Being a diverse group of ladies, each one has a different viewpoint and experience with racism, prejudice, and discrimination. Cathy and Mona shared their experience with racism while Dawn shared her experience in understanding how her own internal biases and beliefs were formed from a young age. 

Cathy and Dawn talk all things Christmas and touch on the controversial topic of setting up before Remembrance Day or after. And will COVID-19 impact how we shop this year? Are you getting on your shopping early? Are you a November Christmas celebrator or a December one?

Cathy and Mona talk with guest Rachel Tam (Cathy's daughter!) about what it's like to be a teenager in this generation and particularly in 2020.

Tonight 2/3 Babes had the pleasure of speaking with special guest Helen Edwards, Deputy Executive Director of Chilliwack Community Services about Connection, Community, and Attachment. Helen is a PhD candidate and centres her work around mental health and community. 

For years women have been taught to be ladylike. Told what to say, how to say it, and what spaces to show up in. Fu*k that. The Babes discuss the concept of "feminine grace" and what it means to them and how it may be redefined in today's world of diversity and inclusion.
