The final part in our look at Stardom's reliantly brilliant Giulia brings us to the year of our Lord, 2021.
While in the wider world it's only been slightly better than 2020 so far, for Giulia it has thus far seen her hit immaculate highs and astonishing lows, heading into the year as reigning World of Stardom Champion, defending the belt against Starlight Kid and Natsuko Tora, making more history at Wrestle Kingdom alongside Donna del Mondo partner Syuri, and with the rest of her DdM collective in Maika, Himeka and Natsupoi, the battle the likes of Oedo Tai, STARS, Queen's Quest and the Cosmic Angels.
It then eventually reaches the intense, climactic showdown between Giulia and Tam Nakano at the 10th Anniversary - All Star Dream Cinderella PPV in a now-iconic Hair vs. Hair match. A feud nearly a year in the making culminating in the most powerful battle of valour in Eastern wrestling.
It is then a new dawn for Giulia. Armed with a new focus, it's a return to the tag division as her and Syuri take on Oedo Tai, Cosmic Angels, Queen's Quest and even Himeka and Maika in the pursuit of the Goddesses of Stardom Championships.
An impromptu 2 week wait for a new episode because the first try was terrible and there's football on, and I am easily distracted. But we are back looking at the incredible of Stardom star Giulia.
In 2020, not even the Coronavirus could hamper a standout year for the former Ice Ribbon rookie, immediately busting down the doors and making history at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 14, as Giulia teamed with the late Hana Kimura to take on the Championship team of Arisa Hoshiki and Mayu Iwatani. From there, she would establish herself as "not one to mess with" as she would do battle against the likes of Momo Watanabe, Natsuko Tora, Saya Kamitani, Konami and spark early embers with a certain Tam Nakano.
In amongst all this, Giulia would forego the factions of Stardom at the time, and forge her own empire with Maika, Syuri, Himeka and Natsupoi in tow, and establishing Donna del Mondo as the latest force in the promotion. Giulia with her new unit behind her, would battle the likes of Queen's Quest, STARS, Oedo Tai and Tokyo Cyber Squad, with championship pursuits firmly in mind.
Round 2 into our look at Stardom superstar Giulia and her climb through the joshi ranks.
Throughout 2019, the focus is on her budding new tag team 'Burning Raw' alongside Ice Ribbon favourite, Tequila Saya. The pair go to battle against the likes of the Frank Sisters, Kyuri & Maika Ozaki, Lovely Butchers, and Azure Revolution, before finally challenging for Ice Ribbon's International Ribbon Tag Team Championships.
Elsewhere, Giulia faces off against some of Japan's finest in Tsukasa Fujimoto, Saori Anou, Miyako Matsumoto, Sareee, Hamuko Hoshi, among others, before closing out 2019 with the controversial jump to Stardom, appearing at the World Champion Wars event following the World of Stardom Championship match between Bea Priestley and Hana Kimura.
Here we are then, a new season of Life Term Booking Podcast as we delve into the career of current Stardom Goddess of Stardom Champion, Giulia.
We start where it all began for Giulia with her October 2017 debut with Ice Ribbon, teaming with Takako Inoue against Totoro Satsuki and Nao DATE. Under the training of Mio Shirai, Giulia in her rookie year would do battle against some of Ice Ribbon's top competitors, including Risa Sera, Maya Yukihi, Hamuko Hoshi and company Ace, Tsukasa Fujimoto.
She would also get her chance to stretch her legs and compete for various other Japanese promotions such as REINA, PURE-J, OZ Academy, WAVE, and BJW, sharing the ring with the likes of Aja Kong, Command Bolshoi, Ryo Mizunami and future Donna del Mondo stablemate, Himeka. She would also get an invitation to a produce event organised by AJPW legend, Toshiaki Kawada. Nay bad really.
Our final part in the examination of AEW superstar PAC and his in-ring wrestling career sees him flourish as a star since his release from WWE. After aligning with Dragon Gate's R.E.D. stable and capturing the company's Open the Dream Gate Championship in December, PAC faces any and all competition head-on, defending against the likes of Kzy, Shun Skywalker and Dragon Kid, whilst engaging in stable warfare with R.E.D. He rediscovers the BritWres scene, taking part in dream matches against the likes of Will Ospreay, WALTER, Chris Brookes, Rampage Brown and Michael Oku, before a certain fresh-faced promotion invited him to the fold...
Whilst his run with AEW has been marred with the collapse of civilisation as we know it, PAC hasn't exactly remained quiet, early feuds against Hangman Page and Kenny Omega transitioned into to rise of the Death Triangle alongside Penta el Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix, wars against Orange Cassidy, Eddie Kingston and The Butcher and The Blade followed, before championship opportunities came calling for the trio.
From such a fruitful opening couple of years with the company, comes the fall from grace for Neville in his time with the WWE. 2017 sees our favourite Geordie son break into the Cruiserweight Division, battling it out against the likes of reigning champion Rich Swann, TJ Perkins and Cedric Alexander, a cursed WrestleMania 33 encounter with Austin Aries, before a brief feud with Enzo Amore spelled the end for Neville's patience with The Dub.
What follows was a corporate contractual nightmare of the highest order which put a hard pause on Nev's career for nearly a year. Down but not deterred, a dramatic 2018 comeback to Dragon Gate as PAC breathed new life into the BASTARD, who would link up with Eita and his R.E.D. stable to go to war against Ben-K, Shingo Takagi, MaxiMuM, Tribe Vanguard, and Flamita, before challenging Masato Yoshino for his Open the Dream Gate Championship.
The next part in our look into the in-ring career of PAC/Adrian Neville as he finishes up with NXT and progresses into the main roster of WWE. Final battles against Kevin Owens, Finn Bálor and Tyson Kidd set Neville up for his debut against Curtis Axel, entry into the 2015 King of the Ring tournament, and battles against Bad News Barrett, Sheamus, Stardust, and Chris Jericho, as well as challenging Seth Rollins and John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and the United States Championship respectively, before a Slammy Award sees off 2015.
2016 then turns into a bit of a turning point for Neville. A Royal Rumble debut, an extension of his feud with Stardust, and a brief return to NXT all precedes an ill-fated contest with Chris Jericho which results in Neville injuring his ankle less than a month before WrestleMania 32. A return just prior to the 2016 Brand Split eventually leads Nev to an early proclamation for the Cruiserweight Division...
Alreet pets, part 5 of our look into the newly-rechristened Adrian Neville sees the bonny lad traverse the NXT landscape and set himself up as one of the premier stars of the brand.
2013 follows Neville's career path from his televised debut against Sakamoto before moving into the tag team division alongside Oliver Grey and Corey Graves to battle the likes of the Wyatt Family and The Ascension, as well as capturing tag team gold. There's also singles clashes against Sami Zayn, NXT Champion Bo Dallas and main roster invasions from Dean Ambrose, The Shield, and Cesaro.
As we progress into 2014, Championship aspirations dominate Neville's schedule, as he gets into the rigor against Tyler Breeze, Tyson Kidd, Bo Dallas, and even some left-of-field challengers in Rob Van Dam and Titus O'Neil.
Part 4 of our look at the career of PAC and we are in some of the bonny lad's most prosperous years of his career. Storming in 2011 as the reigning Dragon Gate Open the Brave Gate Champion, PAC would make the rounds for DG and their US and UK sub-promotions as well as more appearances for PWG and a send-off to 1PW. Along the way, PAC would form partnerships with Masato Yoshino and Dragon Kid, whilst battling the likes of Ricochet, Naoki Tanizaki, Zack Sabre Jr., and Brodie Lee.
2012 saw PAC make his debut for NJPW as part of the Best of the Super Juniors XIX battling the likes of Taichi, Jushin Thunder Liger, BUSHI, and a certain Prince Devitt, then rekindling an old partnership with Naruki Doi, all before saying sayōnara to Japan and signing for WWE and their newly-reformatted NXT.
We go again in the world of PAC this time as he traverses Dragon Gate without his Typhoon brethren behind him. It's not long though before he gets a new family in WORLD-1, alongside the likes of Naruki Doi, BxB Hulk, Masato Yoshino, and Naoki Tanizaki. Together, they participate in the promotion's stable wars against KAMIKAZE, Real Hazard and new heat-mongers, WARRIORS-5.
Elsewhere for PAC, he would make appearances for American Wrestling Rampage, Union of European Wrestling Alliances, and Dragon Gate USA, as well as returns to the Frontier Wrestling Alliance, Independent Wrestling Federation and International Pro Wrestling: United Kingdom. He would throw down the graps with the likes of Mark Haskins, NOSAWA Rongai, Jody Fleisch, Bryan Danielson, CIMA, and many more.
