Life Unscripted with Logan Spencer

Evan shares his personal story being a man of colour growing up in Alberta and what his hopes are for change. We explore the conversations that we need to be having with our children so this world becomes a more accepting and loving place.

We also talk about the Community Solidarity March taking place in Lethbridge Alberta on June 27th.

Kortney talks about her postpartum anxiety, struggles with a c-section recovery and how she learned to take care of herself and use the village that she has in raising 3 kids.

In part one of Kortney's Journey, my sister in law opens up about her journey through secondary infertility and the challenges, successes, emotional heartache, pressures, tests and more that led to the conception of her son through In Vetro Fertilization.

All about my labor and delivery with our baby girl Macy. Why she came into the world a bit earlier than expected, my labor, my recovery, challenges and joys so far and 1.5 weeks in to having two babies! Also, a bit on anxiety during the unknowns of our time.

Nicole and I talk about guilt and shame this week in all areas of life. We explore chapter 3 of Daring Greatly and discuss the ways to acknowledge and move through the emotions that are creating disconnection.

My thoughts and feelings on going back to work and on going from 1 baby to 2! Fears being 33 weeks pregnant and my thoughts on having a baby boy or girl.

Good news for you all- you can go through the rest of your life without always worrying about peeing your pants! Bad news is your probably doing kegels wrong. We get into it all from pain during intercourse, pre and post baby, and what to expect if you go for an appointment.

I talk to Julia about her home on the ranch birth story, the highs and lows of one month postpartum and her perspective on motherhood in the years to come!

We explore the topics of chapter 1 and 2 of Daring Greatly; the desire to have more, comparing ourselves to others in parenting, beauty, day to day life, being vulnerable and the impact leaning in can have on our lives.

Okay what is this book club idea? Topics today: Control, Fear, Connection and Vulnerability. And why I think reading or listening to Daring Greatly is a journey you should join in.
