This week on the podcast we welcome Jill Kaplan to talk about living life with Autoimmune Illnesses. Jill suffers from Ulcerative Colitis, Spondyloarthropathy, Fibromyalgia, Migraines, MS (minor form) and anxiety. Despite a huge array of challenges health wise, Jill lives life with optimism, perseverance and the tenacity to keep pushing through no matter what. We talk to Jill about her history with the illnesses, how it impacted her having kids, what the challenges were for her personally as a person as well as a mother impacted by the illnesses and how she pushes through every day. We also talk to Jill about what it means to put yourself first, how she's taken control of her life by putting her first and caring less about other people's opinions and how the lessons she's had over the years can benefit the audience. Jill opens up about her chemotherapy today to tackle her autoimmune illnesses and some facts blow us away. Since anxiety was another challenge for Jill, we talk about how she manages her anxiety and she shares a book that really helped her through it. We also talk about homeschooling and her experience as a homeschooling parent.
