Consecrated as a Swami by Swami Shankarananda in 2014, she has dedicated her life to helping others connect with the profound reality of these divine qualities. Swami Nityananda's approach to spirituality revolves around selfless living and the fundamental question of service: "How may I be of service?" Beyond her spiritual calling, Swami Nityananda is also known as Juniper Ellis, a distinguished Professor of English at Loyola University. Mellon Fellowship, and an NEH grant. Her scholarly contributions, including her book "Tattooing the World: Pacific Designs in Print and Skin," published by Columbia University Press, have left an indelible mark in the academic world.
