In this episode, we reflect on nine years of marriage and the hardest things it's forced us to learn about ourselves. For Jonathan, that meant confronting selfishness and blind spots he didn't know he had. For Jamie, it meant facing deep insecurity, people pleasing, comparison, and how much of her identity she had placed in other people's hands.
We talk about why marriage can expose what's already inside us, learning to own the parts of ourselves we'd rather avoid, and finding people who can meet our brokenness with grace instead of shame. We also unpack what we're learning about vulnerability, confession, healing, and becoming safer people for each other.
