What place does humor have in your life?

During an interview with comedian John Mulaney, host Stephen Colbert and Mulaney discussed their personal anxieties and thoughts toward how others view them. At one point in the conversation, Colbert said the following, "No one else can be your mirror."

One of the many questions that I've been mulling over for the past several months, which I invite you to reflect on, has been the following: What do you want in life?

“Don’t worry about failure. Worry about the chances you miss when you don’t even try.”

"How will you create calm?"

“Kindness is choosing love over hate, light over darkness, compassion over judgment.”

How will you practice kindness in the midst of these overwhelmingly dark times?

If there's any one thing that I hope you take away from this week's Marcus' Monday Motivational, it's that you are not alone toward things like missing people, feeling the ongoing presence of social distancing (and isolation), and "normal" life.
