Psalm 32 isn’t just a poetic reflection—it’s a bold invitation to step into the freedom that comes when we stop hiding and start confessing. David shows us the heavy toll of unspoken sin—the groaning, the weariness, the weight we carry—and then contrasts it with the joy and relief of forgiveness. This psalm is both instruction and testimony, reminding us that God doesn’t just tolerate our repentance, He welcomes it, offering covering, healing, and restoration.
Join us for this 15 minute of prayer and scripture reading as we walk through Psalm 32 together, learning how confession leads not to condemnation, but to freedom, peace, and a joy that can only come from God’s mercy.

Can Christians fight back or does the Bible demand peace?
In this episode of March or Die, Jeremy Stalnecker sits down with co-host Sean Kennard, a professional MMA fighter, Jiu-Jitsu black belt, and former law enforcement officer, to tackle one of the most debated questions in the Christian community: self-defense.
Together they break down Scripture, from Exodus and Nehemiah to Luke 22, to uncover whether defending yourself and others is compatible with following Jesus. They also discuss the difference between prideful violence and righteous protection, why preparation matters, and how faith and strength can work together when confronting evil.

Many of us enter life with carefully crafted plans—timelines for career, marriage, and milestones. But often those plans unravel, and we’re left realizing just how little control we actually have. Amber Ginter shares her story of learning to release her type-A, control-driven tendencies into God’s hands.
As Proverbs 16:9 reminds us: “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.” Even when our dreams don’t play out the way we thought, God’s purposes never fail. The detours and delays are not wasted. They are preparing us for what’s ahead.
The invitation of Proverbs 3:5-6 is to surrender—not just in theory, but in practice. To give God our whole hearts, trusting His wisdom over our own. And in that trust, we find freedom. Because the pressure isn’t on us to make everything happen—it’s on Him to lead us faithfully, right on time.
Tonight’s Scripture: Proverbs 3:5, NIV
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”

Your Nightly Prayer
Dear Jesus,
Finding peace in the unknown is hard. When seasons shift and my heart longs for control, root me in Your truth. Help me to trust Your timing and Your plans above my own. Teach me to release my grip and find peace in Your faithful presence. Prepare me for what’s ahead, even when I cannot see the path clearly. I know You will get me where I need to be, right on time.
Amen.

“There’s a part of you that drinks and a part of you that doesn’t—and that doesn’t make you crazy. That makes you human.”
What happens when your faith says one thing and your actions say another? And what do you do when the coping mechanisms that once helped you survive start controlling you? That’s where today’s conversation lives—right in the messy space where faith and psychology meet, and it answers the question, "Why do I do the things I don't want to do?"
Dr. Alison Cook is a Christian therapist and the author of two incredible books that were monumental in my own addiction recovery: Boundaries for Your Soul and I Shouldn’t Feel This Way.
In this episode of "Confessions," Alison talks about how parts of ourselves can be both hurting and helping, how to hold compassion without coddling, cognitive dissonance, and why curiosity—not shame—is what truly leads to transformation. We also explore spiritual bypassing, the New Testament idea of sozo (salvation/healing), and how Internal Family Systems (IFS) helps us make sense of the parts of us that manage, protect, and sometimes reach for the “firehose” when pain flares up.
If you’ve ever been disgusted by your own actions, but are ready to stop beating yourself up, you'll want to listen.
We explore:
—Why Christians often experience cognitive dissonance but don’t know how to name it
—What Internal Family Systems (IFS) is and how it helps you understand yourself
—How to tell the difference between healthy coping and numbing
—The concept of “firefighters,” “managers,” and “exiles” inside your internal system
—Why spiritual bypassing is so common in the church
—How trauma gets buried and drives our behavior
—What Scripture really means by “salvation” (sozo)
—The link between addiction and unprocessed pain
—Why medication can be a gift of common grace
—How Jacob’s limp and new name point to a holy, healed identity

Today’s Bible Verse:
"The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing." — Proverbs 12:18
Our words carry incredible power—power to build up or tear down, to heal or to wound. Proverbs 12:18 reminds us that careless speech can cut deeply, but words spoken with wisdom and grace can bring healing and restoration.
