Human sufferings are inevitable so are our ability to receive strength and increasing faith from God. We fix our eyes, not to our problems and sufferings but to the One Who is greatly sovereign.

Are you like the Gibeonites who was desperate and took the risk to deceive the Israelites just to be saved?

Or are you like Joshua and the Israelites who did not consult God and disobeyed His instructions, therefore was put in a difficult situation yet have no choice but to keep their oath?

Whatever your circumstances are, there will be great results for those who do whatever it takes to be on God’s side. Seize every opportunity to serve Him and receive the promise of blessing and salvation for you and your household.

What legacy do we want our absence to be filled with? As a Christian, what is the greatest legacy we can start to build today?

Everyone of us must start to think of the legacy we wanted to leave behind. A legacy that has eternal impact which will carry on for generations.

When we talk about legacy, we can refer to the life of King David. His great obedience, love and sacrifice for the the Lord was the greatest things he left behind, that generations after him continuously benefited. The Lord continuously remembered David, even 300 years after his death, his lineage was protected and blessed by the Lord.

Like David, let’s desire to build a legacy that the Lord will eternally remember. The greatest thing we can leave behind is our love and sacrifice for God, for his kingdom, and for his glory. Let’s live our days loving the Lord and learning the value of a sacrifice.
