Pastor Missi brings a great word this week! She challenges us to live a fasted life. She shares powerful examples from the Word of God; of Christ himself fasting. A fasted life is the sharpening of the axe. We can resist temptation and cut away at the hinderances that impede our walk with God. With a fasted life, we are able to walk out the call of God on our life and show the world His power that moves through us. We make Him known through our lives and our walks. This week, Pastor Missi starts out 2020 with the powerful message, "Called to Be." Sharing from the book of Daniel she shares God's heart for us in the new year. A time of fasting and being diligent and bold in our prayers. We need to be persistent and be present with God through our prayer. He wants us to be present with Him and that can only come through connection with Him through prayer.

This week Pastor Missi finishes our series. She teaches about our soon coming King! He is coming again and it's going to be different this time. He is coming back and He is coming quickly. We have to be ready. He isn't coming the same way He did last time. He brought us salvation and is coming to complete what He started. We shouldn't tremble in a sense of fear but, tremble in a sense of awe and preparedness!

Pastor Missi continues our series this week. She brings the word and challenges the congregation. Our King is returning and He is calling us to a higher calling. We are called to be kings and priests. He placed us in this culture for a reason. We are called to step up into His call on our life. The King is returning and this time it will be different. We are to be ready and preparing the way for Him.

Pastor Miriam continues our series. She speaks about the adoration of our King of Kings. This says it best, "Adoring Him makes the space to be in close proximity and intimacy with Him. When we are spiritually full with Jesus our lives change and, the lives of those around us change as well. We aren't the source and we can't be full of Him if we are full of self.
