What if the Jesus you've pictured your whole life is only half the story? Pastor Phil opens a bold new five-week series, *Rediscovering Jesus*, by challenging the soft, stained-glass image many of us carry—and replacing it with Scripture's far more striking portrait. From a stonemason with calloused hands clearing a crowded temple to a man who commanded storms with a word and sweat blood in Gethsemane, this Jesus is rugged, resolute, and relentless in love. Don't settle for a pocket-sized Savior—watch this message and rediscover the Jesus worth giving your whole life to. When most people picture Jesus, they imagine someone serious, quiet, and almost untouchable. But is that really the Jesus we meet in the Gospels? In this message, we'll take a fresh look at Scripture and discover a side of Jesus that many of us have overlooked. From His vivid illustrations and exaggerated word pictures to His wit, irony, and joyful personality, Jesus wasn't a comedian—but He was far more relatable than many people realize. We'll explore passages like John 15, Matthew 7, Mark 7, Luke 15, and Mark 10 to see how Jesus used humor to communicate profound truth and why children, sinners, and ordinary people were so drawn to Him. The more fully we understand the humanity of Jesus, the more deeply we'll appreciate His divinity. Scripture: John 15:7–11, Matthew 7:3–5, Matthew 19:24, Mark 7:14–23, Mark 10:13–16, Luke 15:1–2 If this message encouraged you, be sure to Like, Subscribe, and Share it with someone who could benefit from seeing Jesus through fresh eyes. #Jesus #RediscoveringJesus #BibleTeaching #ExpositoryPreaching #ChristianFaith #Gospel #Maranatha #LifePointChurchLifePoint Church is a community of Christ-followers meeting weekly in Longwood, Florida. What if Jesus looked at you right now and saw not your failures, but your future? In this powerful message, Pastor Matt unpacks the remarkable transformation of Simon—an impulsive, ordinary fisherman—into Peter, the rock. Before Peter ever lived up to his name, Jesus spoke it over him, seeing the masterpiece inside the unformed stone. Like a sculptor carving an elephant from raw soapstone, God isn't adding to us—He's removing everything that isn't Christ. Don't let shame, false labels, or comparison steal your identity. Watch this message and discover that formation in you is never finished.

What if you could be an all-around follower of Christ—not just good at one thing, but genuinely transformed in every area of your life? Pastor Phil draws a fascinating parallel between baseball's legendary five-tool player Shohei Ohtani and the five spiritual qualities every believer needs, drawn from Hebrews 13: brotherly love, hospitality, empathy, purity, and contentment. Like the email from a family who chose watching online because no one spoke to them, this message hits close to home. Don't miss this powerful, practical message—it could change everything.

What if the blood of Jesus is your VIP pass to the throne room of heaven? Pastor Phil reveals how Christ's sacrifice gives us confidence to approach God—not as nervous visitors, but as beloved children. Like little John F. Kennedy playing under the Oval Office desk, we belong in the Father's presence because of relationship, not performance. Phil challenges us to draw near with true hearts, hold fast to hope, and stir each other toward love through gathering together as the church family. Don't miss this powerful reminder that you have access to the King—dive in now!
