In week 3 of our Parables series, Dr. Caleb Brown explores Jesus’ parable of the net in Matthew 13:47–50 and what it reveals about the Kingdom of Heaven and the life God invites us into. Through this story, Jesus points us toward the eternal significance of knowing Him and reminds us that heaven is about more than a place—it’s about being in the presence of the King.

As we consider Jesus’ words, we’re challenged to look beyond what happens at the end of the age and ask how these truths should shape the way we live today. Have we responded to Jesus’ invitation? And who in our lives still needs to hear it? The good news is that Jesus came to seek and save the lost, and His invitation to know Him is still open.

In Matthew 13:44–46, Jesus tells two short parables about a hidden treasure and a pearl of great value. Though the men discover what they’re looking for in different ways, they both recognize its worth and are willing to give up everything to obtain it. In Week 2 of our Parables series, Dr. Caleb Brown explores what these stories reveal about the value of the Kingdom of God and how recognizing the worth of Jesus changes the way we live.

When we truly recognize the treasure we’ve found in Jesus, surrender becomes more than a sacrifice—it becomes a joyful response. Join us as we consider what it means to remember the value of the Kingdom and respond to Jesus with our whole lives.

In Week 1 of our new sermon series, Parables, Dr. Caleb Brown breaks down the Parable of the Sower and shows us how this story reveals something about the Kingdom of God—and something about us.

As Jesus describes four different kinds of soil, we’re challenged to look at the condition of our own hearts. Are we truly receiving the Word of God, or have we become hardened, shallow, or too crowded to let it take root? The Kingdom is available to everyone, but when we truly receive what Jesus says, it changes us and produces fruit in our lives.

What does it look like when Jesus truly changes your life? In Colossians 4, Dr. Caleb Brown looks at the lives of Onesimus and Tychicus—two men whose lives give us a picture of what it means to live the Jesus Way.

Onesimus shows us what transformation looks like, while Tychicus shows us what it means to become trustworthy. Following Jesus isn’t simply about knowing the right things or agreeing with the right things. It’s about becoming the kind of person whose life reflects the way of Jesus—someone who is transformed by Him and faithful with whatever He places in their hands.

In Week 3 of The Jesus Way, Pastor Caleb Brown walks through Colossians 3:15–17 and challenges us to consider who really gets to rule in our lives. Following Jesus isn’t simply about changing our behavior—it’s about living under a new King. When Jesus is King, His peace rules our hearts, His Word shapes our lives, and His name marks the way we live.

The Jesus Way means surrendering the throne we’ve tried to keep for ourselves and allowing Jesus to have the final say. We are called to be ruled by His peace, shaped by His Word, and marked by His name—so that the invisible reign of Jesus becomes visible through the way we live, love, serve, and represent Him.

In Week Two of The Jesus Way, Senior Pastor Shawn McGill continues through Colossians 3 and challenges us to consider what it really looks like for Jesus to change the way we live, treat people, and respond to the world around us.

As we become more like Jesus, His character should begin to show up in our everyday lives. Pastor Shawn walks through Paul’s call to “clothe yourselves” with qualities like mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, forgiveness, and above all, love. The Jesus Way isn’t another self-help plan—it’s allowing God to renew us from the inside out until the way we live begins to look more and more like Him.

Following Jesus means more than believing differently—it means learning to see, think, desire, and live differently. In the first message of The Jesus Way, Pastor Caleb Brown walks through Colossians 3:1–9 and challenges us to consider what happens when we’ve been given new life in Jesus but continue living according to old patterns.

Maybe the problem isn’t that our desires are too big, but that we’ve settled for things too small to satisfy them. What have you settled for because it’s familiar? What if there’s something better being offered? Sometimes the first step toward transformation is simply getting honest, naming what we’ve settled for, and surrendering it to Jesus.

In this message, Pastor Caleb Brown walks through Paul’s journey in Acts 9 and highlights the many people who played a part in helping him become the immense blessing he would ultimately be to the church. From Ananias to Barnabas and beyond, Paul’s story reminds us that God often uses ordinary people, simple acts of obedience, encouragement, and support to shape someone’s life and calling.

The same is true today. Pastor Caleb also celebrates the many ways members of our church have helped make it what it is today and challenges us to consider how we can play our part. Whether it’s joining a small group, serving, or simply being there for someone else, there’s a place for everyone to get involved and help build the church God is calling us to be.

In Week 3 of Even Here, we dive into Psalm 23:5 and the surprising picture David gives us of God preparing a table “in the presence of my enemies.” What if the good life isn’t a life without opposition, difficulty, or enemies—but a life where we can still experience the goodness of God in the middle of it all?

This message explores how we can be aware of the things working against us without becoming consumed by them, recognize the possibility of an overflowing life through the Holy Spirit, and pay attention to what we’re allowing to “feed” us. We may not be able to choose who sits around our table, but we can choose who feeds us. Because the Shepherd is still present, the table is still set, and abundant life is still available—even here.

What do we do when we find ourselves in the valley? In the next message of our Even Here series, Pastor Caleb Brown walks through Psalm 23:4 and reminds us that David’s words weren’t written from a life without pain, but from someone who knew rejection, failure, grief, fear, and uncertainty. Yet in the middle of it all, David discovered a profound truth: the Shepherd is with us in the valley.

If you’re walking through a difficult season—or wondering how much longer it will last—this message will encourage you to look beyond your circumstances and remember who is walking with you. The valley may raise questions, but it doesn’t mean you’re alone. Even here, God is with you.
