Lifepointe Church Sermons

One of the ways that God gets us on a firm foundation is through His Church! From the beginning, it has been His design that we live in community with one another as His family.

God is speaking to us through His Word. The question is: "are we listening?" If we will pay attention to His Word, we can live a strong and secure life on the Rock!

Pastor Tyler looks at our final Origin Story we find in the opening chapters of Genesis: the call of Abram to be blessed and to bless others. This story finds its fulfillment in Jesus. It's the Gospel and it's THE story. It's your story.

Pastor Jason tells the Origin Story of sin. Everything was going so well...what happened?! Sin isn't just a "whoops I messed up." It's a force crouching at the door waiting to dominate you. The Good News: God's Word shows us how we can break this pattern and be free!

Pastor Tyler tells God's Origin Story of the creation of humans. We are the pinnacle of His creation work. We have unsurpassable worth. We have meaning and purpose. We have rich relationships with each other and with Him. We are who He says we are.

Pastor Jason re-introduces us to the incredible Origin Story of all stories: Genesis 1. One thing becomes crystal clear in this incredible and layered passage: God is GOOD. He is the Creator. There is none like Him.

Pastor Chick closes out our "Psalms For Every Season" series on the beloved Psalm 23. We have a Good Shepherd who takes care of us. No matter what we are going through, he leads and guides into a glorious future!

Looking to the Psalms, Pastor Jeff talks about God's power for overcoming discouragement. Sometimes you need to take the water gun of praise and shoot that spirit of fear down.

Pastor Russell shows us what true freedom looks like! Jesus came to set captives free. In other words: Follow Jesus, find freedom!

Even when it looks like evil is winning, we know where our Hope comes from. Don't "fret" and get sucked into the web the world weaves. Trust, Delight, and Rest in the One Who gives true life; now and forever.
