What qualities are you looking for in a team or teammate?

The answer will go directly to your core values. Is it honesty, reliability, good listening skills, or a playful sense of humor? Then you want to ask, does my team have a positive vibe? Do they have the kind of outlook on life where they can see through the mess to find the gifts and opportunities to help lift you when you fall?

Life is a team sport. No one can get through it alone. For instance, how many of you have had one or more of your children struggle with life? At some point in time, it may be anxiety, depression, fallen friendships, roommate issues at college, or a difficult boss.

So let's just call it out for what it is. Life can be hard and trying to do it alone just isn't the best way. So if we tell our kids they don't have to do life alone, why would we think we should be able to do it alone?

❤️ YOUR DARE: Who's on your team?
1. Make a list of those people you recognize as being  on your team.
2. Define which role each of the people from #1 fill.
3. Based on #2, who's missing from your team? Which roles clearly need to be filled?
4. Create your final roster.
