Cody Hollister, a Tennessee Titans wide receiver, shares about his struggles of going from an All State high school football state champion to an unknown, 9th receiver at a community college, and how he worked through challenge after challenge with his no quit mindset to now be playing in the NFL today.
Who is Cody Hollister?
Cody Hollister is a wide receiver for the Tennessee Titans. Cody played high school football at Mountain view High School in Bend, Oregon with his identical twin brother Jacob. Jacob was the Quarterback and Cody his number one target at wide receiver. In high school, Cody broke all wide receiver records for his school, and they won the 2011 state championship his senior year.
Cody walked on at university of Nevada Reno and redshirted his freshman year. He then transferred to Arizona Western Community College to play as a redshirt freshman, where he earned a scholarship to join the SEC at the University of Arkansas the following year.
After three seasons at Arkansas which were plagued with injuries, Cody signed with the New England Patriots in 2017. He played two seasons with the Patriots along with his twin brother Jacob and won the super bowl against the Los Angeles Rams in 2019.
On May 13, 2019, Hollister signed with the Tennessee Titans where he has been ever since.
His brother Jacob Hollister is now a tight end for the Minnesota Vikings.
Cody is a man who loves Jesus and desires to honor and glorify Him in all he does, enjoys outdoor adventures, and is a singer/songwriter and guitarist.
