The sermon for 9 August comes from 1 Kings 19:1-21 and is about the way that Jezebel terrified Elijah and caused him to flee to a cave about 100 miles south.  Wanting to give up.  No doubt feeling like a failure.  The sermon is about what happens to him.

Jim Grasley delivered this sermon and took his text from Matthew 14:13-21.  In this text Matthew records the feeding of the crowd of 5000 people.

On August 30, LifeSpring Church celebrated our 20th Anniversary.  Bruce Logue and Jim Grasley delivered a split sermon based on 1 Samuel 7:12 and Philippians 1:3-6.  The general theme for the morning was the importance of memory in shaping who we are in the future.

Jesus took his disciples to a place that boasted "the gate of Hell."  It was there that Peter made his great confession about who Jesus was.  And Jesus from the paganism of Caesarea Philippi announced that not even the gates of Hell could prevail against it.  This sermon explores why Caesarea Philippi was such an appropriate place to have this talk.  Matthew 16:13-28.
