Episode 26: HAPPY PRIDE MONTH! This month is celebrated in honor of the Stonewall riots in 1969. Today, we celebrate with parades, parties, festivals, concerts to honor LGBTQIA+ voices and experiences. To contribute, Jennell and Jai agreed there's no better way to honor that than to create a Pride-related episode. 

This is a very special episode as Jai interviews Jennell and discusses the challenges and struggles she faced with coming out as a lesbian at an early age. She felt privileged that the people around her were accepting but still felt isolated. By sharing her story, she hopes to help others create a comfortable way for them to come out.  

Coming out to yourself, family, and friends can feel very lonely. It does not have to be! There are many resources out there including in-person or online support groups, communal chats, and connecting with people through social media.
