In this episode, we are looking at the disposal process of batteries and their impact on the environment. The disposal of batteries, much like the rest of the process is still developing and has yet to be further advanced to a level where the upscale in production can actually be sustained without killing the environment.

Each of the five episodes will look at a different stage starting from raw materials that go into batteries, then we will look at the manufacturing process followed by the various current and future uses of batteries. Then we will look at how they are disposed of and finally, my favourite episode, looking at the future of the battery industry and what companies are taking charge in future innovation.
