Description - Part 3 in our series "Chosen People | Royal Priesthood".  As priests of God we are called to "broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world" (1 Peter 2:9).  The baptism in the Holy Spirit is the means by which we receive the fullness of His power to witness, make disciples, perform miracles, ect.  How do we receive this gift?  We ask!

“But you are God’s chosen treasure—priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world" (1 Peter 2:9 TPT).

There is a paradigm in today's Church which must shift in order for us to fulfill God's mission on Earth! Every follower of Jesus is a priest and a minister...not just pastors and church leaders! We all have a vital role to play in reaching our world, and God has given each of us an individual mandate from Heaven. What's in your heart? What's in your hand? What's your peanut?

Resurrection Power in Jesus' Name

“I tell you this timeless truth: The person who follows me in faith, believing in me, will do the same mighty miracles that I do—even greater miracles than these because I go to be with my Father!  For I will do whatever you ask me to do when you ask me in my name.” (John 14:12-13 TPT)

We were born for the impossible!  In Jesus' name we have His power and full authority to ask the Father for anything, and He will do it (John 14:14, 16:24).  We must renew our minds by replacing the lies of the enemy with the Truth!  It's time to believe fully, have faith, and declare the promises of His Word...in Jesus' name!

Resurrection Power

"Yes, God raised Jesus to life! And since God’s Spirit of Resurrection lives in you, he will also raise your dying body to life by the same Spirit that breathes life into you!" (Romans 8:11 TPT)

Jesus' blood paid our debt to sin in full, but we cannot stop at the cross! There is more! The same resurrection power that raised Christ from the dead lives in us!  We are one with Jesus, co-glorified with Him, and commissioned to do even great things than He did — because we have resurrection power!
