Kaja shares about the importance of community as we answer Jesus’ call to follow him.

Life can sometimes be rough; loneliness is on the rise and can lead into darkness if left unchecked. Life is also a gift from God and can be beautiful and joyful.

Jesus calls us to follow him, but that is impossible without becoming part of the community which is formed around him. Connectivity is not the same as community. The internet and social media is no substitute for being part of a real community that does life together – people who are with us through good and bad, sickness and health, shared lives and experiences, with Jesus as our centre.

Jesus has called us into his “school of love” as we learn to love as he does in a context of community and commitment to one another.
