Today we look at how Critical Theory paints a vision for the future based on activism and advocacy. The Gospel also calls us to stand up clearly for the weak, but on entirely different terms.

The dominant worldview today emphasizes liberating the oppressed, tearing down corrupt structures! Critical Theory on the surface seems pretty Biblical. How does the Gospel as OUR worldview speak to the competing worldview of Critical Theory?

We explore the supremely beautiful picture of sexuality found in the scriptures, use that picture to critique our cultural norms, discuss some objections to help us arrive as a clear position and finally provide coaching on discipleship application in a way that is full of grace and kindness.

We are going to explore the way that our culture has defined identity and what it means to be human. Instead of engaging in a “culture war” we hope to show how the Gospel is truly the most beautiful good news!
