Lifting Her Voice

Today we’ll read the eighth chapter of Matthew together.  We’ll see miracles, faith that impresses even Jesus, and how we should act in storms.

Today we’ll read the seventh chapter of Matthew together, last chapter for the Sermon on the Mount.  In it, we hear about judging, asking and receiving/seeking, knocking, and finding, and fruit.

Today we’ll read the sixth chapter of Matthew together, exploring the next section of the Sermon on the Mount….and it is rich!  Money, Giving, The Golden Rule, and Worry.  Now, that’s a valuable chapter!

Today we’ll read the fifth chapter of Matthew together, spending the first of three days exploring the Sermon on the Mount.

Today we’ll read the fourth chapter of Matthew together.  In this chapter, Jesus is in the desert alone for 40 days and 40 nights, is tempted by the devil, and calls the first four of His inner circle.

Today we’ll read the third chapter of Matthew together.  We’ll get our first look at John the Baptist and witness Jesus’ Baptism.

Today we’ll read the second chapter of Matthew together.  Wise men, Herod (just an awful man), and immediate obedience.

Today we’ll read the first chapter of Matthew together, wading thru all those genealogies and the first story of the Nativity.
