In yogic philosophy the term Sat-chit-ananda—roughly

In this week's episode, I invite listeners to consider stepping into a deeper response—to drop deeper into life—to explore those open and closed parts of themselves, the triggers pinching off the life force in certain areas of ourselves, or in areas in our lives where we hold ourselves back, and why they are there.

I also share about how trigger responses, or gestures, can actually serve as a type of a “numbing balm” of the personality—taking the form of a strategy to control, change, or withdraw…only touching the surface with a quick fix, but don’t allow us to actually go deeper into what remains unfelt under it, at the origin where unconscious energies and emotions maintain it.

In today's episode, I am sharing about the power of somatic sensing circle, "The Golden Thread"--what it is and how it can serve as a type of transpersonal medicine.

Many of us never developed the subtlies of self-awareness to allow us to best optimize the conditions, circumstances, and relationships in our lives, in ways that truly empower ourselves and others and to fully access our potential.

At no fault of our own, many us inherited unconscious ways of operating, mostly shaped by controlling the conditions around us so we could survive--not necessarily to have fulfilling lives or relationships. And the thing is, part of us suspects there might be another way, but we just can't "see" what that is....so, we continue doing what we "know" even if it isn't producing the results we really desire and imagine possible.

So what is the answer? You guessed it--developing the self-awareness, tools, and practices to begin to more fully harness your creative power and unfurl the conditioned mental and emotional overlays, to set your table for a whole new life, like no kidding. This awareness starts with recognizing all the incredible energy below the ground of the mind, held and often "stuck," or bound up, in your nervous system and bio-field.

Somatic awareness practices allow you to begin to clear the energetic field of your nervous system, to make way for the new crops you want to plant, to have the room to grow and be harvested in your life.

In this week's episode, I am sharing reflections on the theme of building collective resonance, as a move from “I/me” to “you/we,” to include an "us" based reality of experience, with the ebb and flow of “I” and ‘thou.” Moving from a myopic perspective to multiple perspective, where we aren't pushing away what is unlike our own experience with judgment, that creates a reality of separation. As this shift happens, we can see more clearly how individualized orientation creates an overlay perception based control, that distorts our access to love, desire, and passion.

Shifting from a nervous system orientation from “me” to “we” is super vulnerable and must be treated with the utmost care.

Few of our ancestors were able to consciously offer a healthy imprint, outside the imbalance of control, critical judgment, seeking power as freedom, at the cost of authentic connection, unable to imagine a way of being that includes both. And all the pain, of the echoes of the past when we’ve been exiled—the relational ruptures made when others could not hold us…could not hold themselves, and the connection was literally cut off. 

The world is calling us to a new way of being with “us” where we are birthing this new way of being in the space between each of us. So, when we feel exhausted, tired, we build trust, knowing we can depend on those around

As I walked down the street yesterday, my eyes were drawn to a jacket that a man in front of me was wearing that had the phrase printed boldly: "members only."
The history of belonging is as old as humanity.
And this history is flavored with exclusivity and gatekeeping that has normalized the marginalization of entire groups of people.
Many believe these scripts are so old that they don't affect our modern culture. But if you take a look around the world right now, you can see the power of their undercurrents, and how their energetic imprints play out in "everyday" reality, informing our unconscious assumptions and ways of relating to each other.
As Levi Strauss explained, myths are so powerful because they operate in our mind often without our awareness.
Their power to shape our experience largely lies in the realm of the unseen. This is the realm where authentic transformation work happens--which is at once individualized and collective.
Many people want to change the world, but aren't willing to accept the fact all change begins from within. Are you literally willing "to be" the change and not just talk about it.
