  2. Ignore their need for attention: Narcissists crave constant admiration and attention. By withdrawing your attention and refusing to feed their ego, you can puncture their self-centeredness. This can cause them to feel unimportant and insignificant, which is deeply distressing for them.
  3. Set boundaries and assert yourself: Narcissists often disregard the boundaries and feelings of others. By firmly establishing your own boundaries and standing up for yourself, you assert your individuality and challenge their belief that they are entitled to special treatment.
  4. Expose their manipulative tactics: Narcissists are skilled manipulators who use charm and manipulation to get what they want. By openly addressing their tactics and refusing to be manipulated, you take away their power and reveal their true intentions.
