Discovering God (Season 2): What are the Distinction Between World religion

Christians claimed that eternal life is only through the Son of God, Jesus Christ. They believed that it is only through Jesus men can relate with God the father.

Islam believed in good works as the way to reach paradise. They believed that the relationship between God and man is a servant-master relationship

Buddhist do not serve any God in particular. All they are aspiring for is to reach what they call the "Nirvana". Buddhists believed that reaching Nirvana will free them from the continuous cycle of Birth.

Self is God to the New Age Spirituality. They believed that God is the higher self in them and what they have to do is to develop themselves to bring out the God in them.

Hindus believed in lots of gods. They believed that the big God have an impact on their small idols. They believed that the essence of life is to be free from the law of Karma.

There are many ways people related with God. We will be learning from the different major World Religion and their belief.

In order to discover God, it is important to know what has God done, what is he doing and what will he do.

It is important in discovering God to find out his nature and attributes. The nature and attributes of God are infinite and each is infinite in itself.

Maybe we shouldn't give God a descripton, however the wrong idea about God is idolatry. So we must try to give God a definition.
