Mo Wine - Wine, Mishaps and More

Light Bodied Bobal Blessings

Listen Later

Welcome to Season 2 of Mo Wine - Wine, Mishaps, and More. Tonight, we are tasting the 2018 Marques Turia Bobal/Shiraz Blend. Bobal is primarily grown to produce bulk wine for mass production or used a the base wine for red blends in Spain. Bobal is the 3rd largest grape grown in the Valencia, Jumilla, Yecla, and Manchuela regions.  It is a medium-bodied, lightweight, dry wine with light to medium acidity and it is totally ok to keep this served chilled.

On the nose, you can smell black cherries and tea leaves, and oregano. The alcohol content is are 12.5%.  In the world of wine, that is light work.

Ciao a tutti!
