The week's theme is Light from the Sanctuary.
Let's start with the verse to memorize during the week that is in Hebrews 8:1 and 2, and says: “Now the point in what we are saying is this: we have such a high priest, one who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, a minister in the holy places, in the true tent that the Lord set up, not man.”
After the disappointment of 10/22/1844, some Millerites realized that the prophecy of the 2300 evenings and mornings did not have to do with the return of Jesus as it was understood. But with the work of Christ in the heavenly sanctuary, as described in the book of Hebrews. The purification of the heavenly sanctuary was the fulfillment of the symbolic purification of the earthly sanctuary taught in Leviticus. By studying Daniel 7 and Daniel 8, we can understand the true nature of cleansing the sanctuary, which is the pre-Advent investigative judgment.
In this week's lesson, we will study the vital biblical truth of Christ's Ministry in the heavenly sanctuary.
