In a world filled with false miracles, their existence actually confirms the existence of real ones. God's Big Draem is our point of emphasis today as we continue to talk about doing the works of Jesus. God is a worker! Perhaps you’ve never thought of Him that way. But that’s how He first appears in the Bible. Jesus declared that His miracles were signs of the Kingdom. You know what? They still are. Jesus said, His church are to do his works. What is God like? What kind of God is he? How may we expect him to act toward us and toward all created things? This is a marvelous question that we started to poke our noses in last week’s podcast. A.W. Tozer said, “Knowing him is both the easiest and most difficult thing in the world." I don’t know about you but knowing God sounds like a fun adventure. That’s why in today’s podcast, our focus is on ‘Why It’s Revolutionary For You to Know What God’s Like.’ All of this on this week’s Light on Life.

Today, we delve into John fourteen, where Jesus imparts profound truths about our heavenly Father, God. It’s astonishing how, amidst the explosion of knowledge in the past fifty years, many have overlooked the fact that the most crucial knowledge one can possess is knowledge of God. Who is He, and what is He like? Now, when we speak of knowledge of God in this podcast, we’re not referring to generic knowledge. For instance, acknowledging that God created the Heavens, and the Earth is a valid statement. However, there’s a significant difference between this general statement and a more personal one, such as “God, my heavenly Father, created the Heavens and the Earth for me.” Both statements hold truth, but the latter establishes a deeper, more intimate connection. I’m specifically talking about knowing God’s present characteristics and understanding Him in a personal way, as if we are walking together and sharing our lives. That’s why today, our focus is on the “Powerful Jesus Truths about God the Father on High.” Join us as we explore this topic on this week’s episode of Light on Life.

As we transition to John’s gospel, specifically chapter fourteen, the topic of having a healthy heart becomes apparent. However, it is important to note that we are referring to the spirit of a person, not the physical organ responsible for pumping blood. Nevertheless, there are similarities between the two. Just as there is no life without a functioning physical heart, the same can be said for a follower of Jesus. When one accepts Jesus and embraces a new life in Christ, they also receive a new heart, according to the style of Second Corinthians 5:17. When a person is in Christ, they become a new creation, accompanied by a new heart. In this week’s podcast, we will explore the elements of decision-making that contribute to maintaining a spiritually healthy, vibrant, and strong heart.
