It is one thing to memorize certain verses in the Bible. It's another to obey what you've memorized. There's a missionary in Korea who visited a native convert who proudly recited the Sermon on the Mount. The missionary was delighted but felt that he ought to warn the man it was necessary to practice the words as well as memorize them.
