We have now come to the place in this book where Job is repenting of all of his hard thoughts of God in relation to this great and awful trial that he has gone through. I think that it will be important in light of our partaking of the Lord's Supper in a few minutes that we would consider three thoughts that will lead us to better confess our own sins, and to repent of them in a way in which hopefully, we will be less likely to sin against God in that same way in the future. 1st of all – Remember, that no purpose of God can be thwarted or withheld from Him. (verses 1 & 2) 2nd – Remember, that there are with God things too wonderful for us to understand. (verse 3) And 3rd – Remember that in your repentance that there should be a righteous abhorrence of yourself which should lead you to more carefully consider, the sacrifice of Christ. (verses 4-6)

He said, "Notwithstanding in this rejoice not... but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven." The Lord was not saying, "Do not rejoice at all." The Plan Of Salvation Acts 7:44-46 1. We must enter through the ONLY door. John 10:1-2, 7-9 2. Next comes separation and daily cleansing. 2 Corinthians 6:14; Ephesians 5:26-27 3.
