In this episode, Behdad interviews Shannon Peters, a fellow podcaster on a show called Wild Soul. Shannon discusses how an incident as far back as preschool affected her outlook moving forward, and how she changed her lifestyle completely after a trip overseas really affected her perspective. Now focused on a healthy lifestyle and yoga, Shannon provides insight into shifting one's outlook on life through her own experiences.

Julia Monk is an actress and artist artist from Vancouver BC whom Kaz met at a speakers panel engagement for environmental and Indigenous issues. She is humble, kind and brings a great perspective on emotional intelligence stemming from her own adversity throughout her life. She discusses growing up with an alcoholic father and how now that he has left that in the past, they have a great relationship.

Eating disorders and cancer. In this episode, Karen Wall talks about her struggles with anorexia growing up and how she overcame it. She then talks about being diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer at a young age, and how she changed her life to fight, and overcome, her diagnosis.

Sexual abuse and jealousy. In this interview, Mitch Drake talks about how he went through life never asking for help because of what happened to him as a child. He discusses about the actions he took to change from not caring about his life at all to being grateful for every moment.

Self-sabotage and incarceration. On today's episode, Light Potential co-founder Kaz Tyabji talks about how the trials of his formative years led him to believe that he didn't deserve to be happy, and how he's working to overcome that narrative. He also discusses how the choices he made in his life resulted in him behind bars, and how that experience made him the man he is today.

Jealousy and Chron's. In today's episode, Light Potential founder Behdad Jamshidi talks about how he learned to overcome his issues with jealousy, resulting in a deeper and healthier relationship with his partner. He also discusses how after being diagnosed with Chron's disease at a young age, he went deep into expanding his understanding of nutrition in order to solve a problem that doctor's struggled to help him with.
