Carbon wakes to find himself in the care of a familiar friend: Bakka. Bakka discusses with Carbon the events of what occurred with the Blood 9, as well as discussing Carbon’s lineage and birthright: White Fire.  As the Chosen Seven mourn the loss of their dearest friend, Carbon turns to face his friends once more. A new dawn approaches, and the Chosen Seven soon realize that their adventure has just begun.

When Carbon refuses the “boy of fate”, metal flies across in all directions. As the Chosen Seven make their plans to get Carbon and Light to their destination, metal balls crack through the air and whizz past them. The picture has been painted, and inside Carbon, a match has been struck…Carbon starts to realize his feelings for Amelia while the battle between Carbon and his friends start to tense up, they have come up with a plan to stop Isaac and the Blood 9. Carbon and his friends risk it to try and stop the bad guys, once and for all......

As Carbon helps Amelia control her powers, Kelley confronts the two and tells them of the need for the power to be called upon. Understanding this, Carbon goes to each one of the Chosen Seven as the heroes discuss what their powers can do and how each can be called upon for their needs. Carbon and his friends are soon interrupted when a group of boars decides to invade their camp. Slipping away just in the nick of time, our heroes soon find themselves stumbling upon the only village that can be seen for miles. Entering the bar of this village looking for answers, Carbon notices the bartender humming a precarious tune. Carbon and his friends are soon to realize that this village is no ordinary village, for a certain mysterious figure is making his way home…
